KICKASS LEVEL 1 SKI CAMP 2013
May 02, 2013This season was the 3rd for “Ken’s Kickass Camp” and as in the previous two seasons, the weather and snow conditions could not have been better! Blue skies, -2 degrees, with light fluffy snow. It made for ideal conditions for both learning and exploring.

City Lights Specials 2012-13 Seymour / Cypress / Grouse
April 25, 2013Our newest program City Lights Special offered at Mt.Seymour, Cypress, and Grouse Mountain, was a great success. We had excellent snow conditions for all 3 events, but encountered some challenges with re-scheduling due to inclement weather. We had a good turnout with a total of 70 participants.

Thirty two women gathered to celebrate alpine skiing on Whistler Mountain, Friday February 8th 2013. It was the most perfect of days to unleash the Ski Goddess.

The BC region marked the CSIA’s 75th Anniversary with the biggest turn out yet for Ignition Day in Whistler. The tradition of great snow, top trainers and tons of enthusiasm continued this year with well over 100 members.

April 02, 2012On the weekend of March 24/25 CSIA BC members gathered in Whistler to tune their skiing and have some serious fun. Ken Paynter, CSIA BC’s technical coordinator, assembled a team of top trainers to lead two days of skill development. Even Mother Nature cooperated by supplying some of the best weather of the season.

March 05, 2012January 27th was the perfect ski day. Snow conditions were incredible; the groomers were velvet carpets with a dusting of snow and the off piste lines beckoned, daring experimentation beyond personal boundaries. The type of ski days we dream about, one that stirs all the senses.
