Election Announcement Correction
The CSIA BC Committee has an important correction to our 2016 Board Seat Election Announcement. We reported, in error, that there were two seats up for election this fall, one Southwestern Zone seat and the Director-At-Large. In fact, there is only one seat open for election this year, the Southwestern Zone seat.
The Director-At-Large seat was up for election in November 2015 and Jonathan Mosley was re-elected to this seat. Having served four years previously, he was eligible to serve two more years, completing a maximum six years of service. This season, 2016-17, will be the final year of Jonathan’s term.
One seat is open for election this November, 2016. It is the Southwestern Zone seat.
Incumbent Kim Fournel will be standing for re-election to the Southwestern Zone seat. The committee welcomes members in good standing, resident in the Southwestern Zone of BC who wish to contest this seat. If you are interested standing for election please contact Paul Sauvé by email as follows: firstname.lastname@example.org. Deadline to be considered for the ballot is Friday, October 28, 2016.
The BC Committee apologizes to members for the misinformation and encourages all members to be involved in the election process. This year online ballots will be available at SnowPro.com through the member profile.
