Kick Ass Camp Lives Up To Name

Posted: April 02nd, 2012

On the weekend of March 24/25 CSIA BC members gathered in Whistler to tune their skiing and have some serious fun. Ken Paynter, CSIA BC’s technical coordinator, assembled a team of top trainers to lead two days of skill development. Even Mother Nature cooperated by supplying some of the best weather of the season.

Here’s some of the awesome feedback we have received from members who attended:

Would you kindly pass on my heartfelt thanks to Ken and Bart for making this camp happen. When I arrived at camp, I was feeling unquestionably the worst I've ever felt about my skiing. Having the opportunity to follow in Bart's "pencil marks" this morning opened up a whole new world of possibilities in my skiing that has me one again feeling optimistic and excited for my next turns. - Wes

Just wanted to say a big “Thank you” to Bart and Natio and on behalf of my pals and myself. My head is still spinning from all of the awesome hints and tips.  The weather was unbeatable and so was the instruction and camaraderie. This was our second year in the bootcamp.  We agreed that it was something we’d plan our years around again next year.  Please let us know if/when the camp will be offered in 2013.

Thanks for your help getting this organized. It was a fantastic weekend. We had a great 2 days and had Ken as one of our instructors. He was terrific. - Huge

Thank you for organizing the KickAss camp this season at Whistler.  In my case it worked – I passed my level 2 at Silver Star last week. - Ritchie
